The Dream, the Desire, the Destiny

It all began with a dream. A shining skyscraper towering over the city streets below. And a giant fucking green K blazing like an eye, searing the darkness with its lush emerald light. That was the original vision. I was 16.

I have always loved business. It is a passion that has developed over time. From my days as a toddler playing with my (get this) "imaginary business partner" Harry and making "movies" using my Star Wars figures and building blocks, through my many varied and woefully unsuccessful entrepreneurial ventures in my pre-teen days (the lawn care business that never got off the ground is the one that rings clearly in my mind), running and owning a successful business has been a dream of mine for a long time. And what an odd road it's been.

In the early spring of 2002, I formed Kaine Management and Consulting, LLC with then-roommate and long-time partner in crime Eric Jones. Kaine was a firm specializing in artist (read: band) management. The firm was born from the singular idea that a band/artist could exist outside the circles of the Music Industry and still have a sustainable career. But, like so many things brilliant in theory, in application it fell a bit short. It was like a handicapped child...so much potential, but never given the full chance of so many others.

Since divesting ourselves of the musicians we managed, Kaine Management and Consulting has morphed into Kaine Enterprises. The vision being a somewhat self-contained multimedia firm exploiting my talents. With such branches as:

Kaine will one day be a multimedia conglomerate. As we enter 2005, Kaine Enterprises stands ready to come out with both barrels blazing, and I for one, couldn't be happier.
